Friends & Volunteers

Volunteering is a great way to contribute to the community and can be very rewarding.  Volunteers also benefit by gaining experience and developing their skills.

In the kitchen     Fundraising for DSWA

         Lending a hand      Volunteer support

Down Syndrome WA frequently needs to call on friends and volunteers to assist with a task or to help out at an event.  Volunteers may also be needed to help provide some support. From time-to-time ongoing programs will require the assistance of regular volunteers.

If you would like to go on our volunteer email list, please contact the association with your email details and any background information about you that might be useful.

Let us know of any experience you may have had that could be relevant, any professional skill or talent that may be of use, or your area of study if you are a student.

Volunteers will usually need to supply a Police Check and/or Working with Children Check.

Alternatively you may just wish to be listed as a friend of Down Syndrome WA and ask to be informed about any events that you might be interested in attending in order to support our organisation.
